As a matchmaker at Elite Connections I’ve reviewed thousands of singles and what their issues with dating are. The number one issue I see is that people need self confidence to have success at dating. Your sense of self-worth and confidence, in my opinion, are what most people will find attractive about you. Don't you want to be in the company of someone who exudes confidence and looks and feels fantastic? Everyone wants to be confident and to be around people like that.
Look within! According to Maslow's categorization of needs, self-esteem is the second most important need after someone realizes their full potential. Before we may grow a healthy sense of self-worth, our demands for psychological stability, protection, love, and belonging must be addressed. Higher and lower levels of self-esteem exist. Higher is derived from inside, whereas lower is derived through winning the approval of others.
Feel good! When you feel good about yourself, your confidence rises, which promotes happiness and success. You will enjoy your daily tasks more when you feel good about yourself because you will be less stressed, have more energy and motivation, and enjoy interacting with others. Even the best dating agency can’t help you find love, if you don’t feel good about yourself.
Think positive! By telling yourself you can do something rather than saying you can't, visualize your inner confidence. As frequently as you can, direct your energies in a constructive direction rather than a negative direction.
Work on yourself! Work on your mental well-being and prior traumas. Find someone to talk about it with and work it out. Discuss your frustrations, unhappiness, and other issues with someone. Your mental health and confidence will benefit from navigating such obstacles.
Be upbeat and hopeful! Positive thinking is crucial to success. Naturally, if you tell yourself that you are overweight, unattractive, and unlovable, you will come to believe that you are. Your mind will also accept that you are beautiful, intelligent, and deserving if you tell yourself those things.
Feel and look your very best! Confidence also comes from the way you look and feel about your body, what you’re wearing, your hair, makeup, and how you put yourself together. Take the time to get ready in the morning, show yourself that you care and love yourself enough to put time and effort in the way you look and present yourself to the world.
Be with people that like you! Being with people who make you feel alive and happy. You will begin to believe anything if you hear it said about you negatively on a regular basis. Be in the company of inspiring individuals who will lift you up and make you feel powerful.
Help your mood! Sometimes we are in a good mood and other times we aren't. Take action to break out of that; it could be exercise, a stroll, or watching a show you like. Make an effort to cheer yourself up and make yourself joyful.
Improve through exercise! You'll feel better and more positive about your body after exercising. Your mood and confidence will both improve as a result of how you are feeling. Eating well will improve your mood, appearance, and energy levels. By improving ourselves, we'll feel better about our mental and physical health, which will boost our confidence and make other people want to be around us.
