Professional Matchmaker Dos and Don’ts on meeting someone new this summer by Tammi Pickle.

Tammi has been a professional matchmaker for 22 years. She is VP at Elite Connections, an elite dating service. Don’t be desperate to find someone. Have fun in the process of meeting new people. She goes on to explain dating is a process, don’t let it get you down. If you are down she gives tips on how to get up and look & feel your best, try different ways of meeting and mingling with different people. Always have your eyes open, wherever you are… coffee shops, grocery stores, gym, restaurants, etc. Keep yourself busy with friends, family, coworkers and just keep trying until your person comes into your life.

If someone is interested give them a shot, get to know them because you never know unless you try. Dating is sometimes awkward, uncomfortable and some people are more uneasy about it than others. Give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they will loosen up on the 2nd or 3rd date and the real person will come through. You never know until you give them another chance because most people are nervous and not themselves on the first date.
